What is XLanes?
XLanes FEC (Family Entertainment Center) is a brand-new location in Fresno, California located on the Lower Level of the Fashion Fair Mall. Our entertainment venue features everything friends and families look forward to when going out including bowling, billiards, restaurant, bar, arcades (coming soon), and more! Stop by our Fresno location today and experience Fun in a new and reimagined way. XLanes FEC is your spot, and we invite you to join us!
Where are you located exactly?
We are located next door to Victoria’s Secret when coming from the mall entrance or we are next door to Macy’s men’s backstage store from the parking lot entrance.
We have kids with us, do you have security in your venue?
Yes, we absolutely do! To ensure the safety for all of our guests, we have a contracted security services company that is with us from the moment we open until we close our doors when the business is closed.
Why do you wand throughout the day to enter XLanes?
We felt it is our duty to do everything we can to keep both our guests and our staff as safe as we possibly can. We will continue to work with our contracted security services team to ensure a safe environment for all our wonderful guests to enjoy while visiting XLanes!
Do you have wheelchair accessibility?
Yes, feel free to enter from the parking lot entrance next door to Macy’s men’s backstage store. We have an elevator that will bring you downstairs to our venue!
So you have 2 entrances to enter and exit XLanes FEC?
Yes, but please remember the mall side escalator entry/exit closes when the mall shuts down for the night. We highly recommend using our parking lot entrance an hour or 2 before the mall closing hours. Otherwise, you would have to circle around the mall to get back to your car on the other side of the mall!
I would like to reserve lanes for tonight, can I do that?
We’re sorry, but we do not take same day reservations, but walk-ins are always welcome.
Do you offer per game bowling at XLanes?
Yes we do, we currently offer per game bowling from Monday to Friday before 4pm.
Can I bring my own ball or shoes?
Absolutely, but XLanes is not responsible for any damages to your personal ball or shoe.
Are the rental shoes true to size?
Our rental shoes run a half size bigger.
Where can I get socks?
You my purchase socks at the counter when you purchase your bowling games.
How often are your lanes oiled?
We oil our lanes 3 times a week.
How many bowlers can we have bowling in our lane?
There is a max capacity of 6 guests per lane bowling per fire and building safety code.
What if we have 7 guests in our party but only 6 are bowling?
That is perfectly fine. There is additional seating area behind each lane that is shared with the next lane. There just can’t be more than 6 guests total bowling at any given time on each lane.
What is hyperbowling?
Hyperbowling is great for all ages. Hyperbowling is only offered with hourly bowling and can not be played per game. Instead of your traditional bowling that goes 10 frames and 2 turns per, hyperbowling has a single turn per player and only goes up to 5 frames. Colored targets will line up and depending on which target you hit first will multiply however many pins you knock down! Hyperbowling eliminates the skill factor and is great for families, corporate team building, or your every day experience at XLanes!
When do you anticipate having arcades available at XLanes?
We are doing everything humanly possible to bring the arcades to our Fresno location. Thank you all for being so patient but we are definitely so close to having them in our venue soon!
Is there an age requirement to enter XLanes?
Yes, all guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian over the age of 25. Everyone over the age of 21 will receive a wristband upon arrival and must always keep them on while inside of XLanes.
Is there a limit to the number of children I can bring with me as their legal guardian?
Yes, we kindly ask that you honor our 1 legal guardian per 4 children policy.
Can I reserve lanes for our kids to bowl while the adults hang out at the bar?
No, children under the age of 18 must be always supervised by a legal guardian while visiting XLanes. We did our best to train our staff for the day-to-day business, but babysitting wasn’t one of them!

What if I have an expired ID, will you accept paper documents for entry?
Unfortunately, no. We are currently only accepting valid identification for entry such as your driver’s license, state and federal issued id card, passport, and passport id card.
Is there a dress code to enter?
Yes, please refer to our “Dress Code” section of the website for details. We kindly ask that you keep in mind that XLanes FEC is a family friendly venue when considering what to wear when visiting us.
